Below are some of the more popular questions that are asked regarding naturism.

• Do I have to take my cloths off right away?
  Although polices vary between clubs/resorts, most offer first timers a period of time to allow them to adjust.  Surprisingly, most people take very little time to get comfortable and disrobe.  Afterwards, many first timers have commented that they actually felt more uncomfortable while they were still wearing their clothes.
  
  
• I don't have a perfect body, why would I want to get nude?
  In all honestly, none of us really have a “perfect” body.  We all have our scars, birth marks, extra fat, etc.  Naturism is all about body acceptance, so in a naturist environment it doesn't matter what shape your body is in, you will be accepted just for being yourself.
  
  
• What if I meet someone I know at a naturist club/resort?
  This is not really as much of an issue as it may at first appear to be.  If the person you know are at the club/resort, then they are a naturist too.  In fact, you now have something else in common with them.
  
  
• What is the difference between Clothing Optional and Nude Required?
  Clothing optional, as the name implies, means that clothing is not required, but you are not obligated to go nude.  Nude required, on the other hand, requires you to be nude when possible, clothed only when practical (cold weather, physical protection while doing a task, women during their monthly cycle).  A club/resort may set either requirement out in their policies depending on the format desired by the ownership.  Most clubs/resorts, however, do require a guest to be nude while using pools, hot tubs and saunas, regardless of whether it is clothing optional or nude required.
  
  
• What if I get aroused?
  This is a common concern expressed by men.  First of all, this rarely happens.  Naturism is not about sexuality, so the environment at most clubs/resorts does not usually prevoke that kind of response.  However, in the event you do get aroused and have an erection, simply cover yourself with a towel or roll over on your stomach until it passes.  You can also take a jump in a cool pool or take a cool shower.  Most naturists would understand and as long as you are not purposely making it obvious, it would simply be overlooked.
  
  
• What if I am on my period?
  A woman's monthly cycle is nothing to be embarrassed about, it is a part of life.  Again, naturists are very understanding in this regard.  Some women will simply use a tampon, while others prefer to wear bottoms while using a pad.  The choice is yours and you can do whatever you feel more comfortable with.
  
  
• What if someone makes a sexual advance towards me?
  Although overt public sexual behaviour is discouraged, occasionally someone will come to a club/resort with the wrong idea in mind.  If such a person makes sexual advances towards you, or does anything else that makes you feel uncomfortable, you should report it to the management immediately.  Most places will deal with such complaints promptly and may ask the offending person to leave the premises if the offense is deemed severe enough.
